| Horsepower is all about port volume.
Our success in producing real horsepower has come through our practical understanding
of the fact that horsepower generation
is all about port volume. We discovered
early on in the game that the port volume
essential for power generation can not
be acheived with the industry’s shortest
valves, the Chrysler intake and exhaust
valves. Realizing that we needed a longer
valve, we designed the ports in our
440 cylinder heads around a 1/2 “ longer
valve. This allowed us to raise the
port roof significantly. The modification
created the extra port volume required
to acheive the desired end result...
more horsepower, and lots of it!
